Psychotherapy
Individual Counseling
Taking the traditional talk therapy session further, Brandy utilizes a variety of therapeutic modalities and brings a unique understanding of how the mind and body interact, the internal processes that contribute to anxiety and depression, the effects of traumatic experiences on our ability to cope with stress, and how early childhood experiences shape how we view and approach the world, relationships, and ourselves.
Perinatal & Postpartum Counseling
Pregnancy, the transition to newborn parent, and the postpartum period can be extremely
difficult to navigate physically and emotionally. They are often marked by anxiety, depression, intrusive thoughts, overwhelm, worry, compulsive behaviors, mood swings, and grief. Brandy has specialized training and experience with pregnancy, birth trauma, NICU trauma,
grief, loss, and fertility issues.
In Old Norse languages, Muna means “to think, consider, remember"; it means "possible" in Norwegian; and "want to" in Sanskrit, which are the very goals of psychotherapy: to consider and remember who you are, who you want to be, what you want, and all that is possible for your life.
